The Stacy Farmhouse Rebuild in Stacy, MN
There used to be a more than 100 year old farmhouse here. However, it was time for something new, so the clients burned it down. It didn’t go to waste, though! They let the house be used for training by many fire fighting stations, which was very cool to see.
June 2021: Now that demo is complete, we are starting to build the new home. First we are starting with the foundation!
July 2021: The foundation is ready to go! Now, we can move in our materials and start building this new home.
October 2021: The structure of this farmhouse is built! We also have the roof complete to save the interior from the outdoor elements.
November 2021 Update: Using some of the former structure is an easy way to keep the memory of the old home while enjoying the new one. We are using doors from the old farmhouse in the new home and rebuilding an old hutch to make a bar. The family is happy to reuse the sturdy, well-kept parts of the former farmhouse for their new home.
November 2021 Update 2: We can’t help but share a second update this month because it’s looking great! The floors are beautiful and match the aesthetic.
December 2021 Update: We finished the rebuild! The home is beautiful, and we were very happy to provide this home for a wonderful family.
